Resident Life

Residents play an important role in setting the tone and direction for daily life at Carlyle Place. Many of our activities are led by residents from teaching a foreign language class to leading Sunday School worship. Participation and leadership on our committees is strongly encouraged. Our residents are encouraged to provide input and take ownership of the community’s social calendars. Residents are also encouraged to take on leadership roles that both develop and maintain a sense of purpose and independence.
Committees set the course for resident life at Carlyle Place with responsibility for areas ranging from organizing the resident-led library to maintaining the buildings and grounds. No matter what a resident’s passions, skill-set, or expertise, the odds are good there is a need and place for their talents at their Carlyle Place home.
Carlyle Place encourages residents to learn their options and educate themselves on the latest trends and findings by offering seminars and book discussions. Recent topics have included aging successfully, improving balance, preventing falls, and more hot topics geared to the unique needs of a 55+ community.
